Frank Howard Allen Wins 2010 Best of the North Bay

May 20, 2010 — Frank Howard Allen is thrilled to announce that Northbay Biz magazine has just released the results of its annual Readers’ Poll and for the eighth year in a row Frank Howard Allen was voted the Best Real Estate Company in the North Bay, an honor earned every year since the polls inception in 2002.

The First Hundred Years

Frank Howard Allen Realtors has been locally owned and operated by just two families since the company’s namesake first began the business in Marin County in 1910.

In order to signify this momentous centennial year, owner Larry Brackett established a fund to finance the research and creation of a book documenting the trials, tribulations, and successes of one of the North Bay’s oldest businesses, one which has been keenly instrumental in the residential and economic development of the region. Authored by local historian Barry Spitz, Frank Howard Allen Realtors: The First Hundred Years, offers a glimpse into the company’s beginnings and also highlights the sage advice passed down from generation to generation for the growth of the successful venture. The book will be published in June, 2010, and distributed to Frank Howard Allen agents, employees and friends. A copy will also be donated for the archives at the Marin History Museum.
