Barrett & Company Real Estate Reaches Greater Boston Home Buyers with Custom iPhone/iPad App

Barrett & Company Real Estate has expanded their mobile MLS IDX reach with the addition of a complimentary, custom Massachusetts Real Estate App for the iPad & iPhone. With Verizon's launch of the iPhone, Apple’s recent launch of iPad 2, and over 10 million iPads sold in 2010, Executive Director of Business Development, Jacob Clayton recognized the need to provide Barrett clients with an innovative new mobile IDX real estate search tool.

Developed by IDX, Inc., Barrett‘s new Massachusetts Real Estate App for iOS does not force buyers (or sellers) to enter their phone number, email address or a special code to view properties. Clients simply download the free App from iTunes, and tap on Barrett & Company’s custom icon to view all MLS IDX listings on their iPad or iPhone. Each location-based, filtered search result displays the Barrett & Company logo, website address, office phone number, and primary contact email address. If a buyer wants to inquire about a listing, Barrett & Company remains the primary (and only) point of contact available within the Massachusetts Real Estate search App.

The App also provides features such as geo-location map search, a photo gallery for each listing, as well as price min/max, bed, bath, and sq. ft filters. Every property detail page that displays on the iPhone & iPad includes a convenient link to Twitter and Facebook, giving Agents an easy way to share both featured and standard IDX listings with clients.
